The Orange County Schools have made great gains in the past year. I am committed to keeping that momentum and making the schools a place of exceptional learning for all students. Listening to parents, teachers, students, and the community is important to me so each student can reach their full potential and be prepared to succeed in their chosen career.

Expand community based “fill in the gap” education (tutoring and cultural classes) for students and parents.
Assure that parents are informed of and receive support services available to them.
Partner with parents to help their students.
Make sure communication between school and parents is clear, and flows freely.
Our schools should be healthy, safe, and secure, providing spaces that encourage engagement and learning
Provide physical and mental security, conducive to learning.
Support teachers by offering them advanced and creative training.
Make sure everyone (parents and students) are aware of and understands all “emergency” plans.
